Who We Are
Tim Wald, PT, DPT
Tim received his Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science (2003) and Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree (2005) from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. Tim has served the pediatric population while working with the Rapid City Area Schools since 2006. He enjoys treating children of all ages (0-21) and has experience in treating children with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome, ADHD and multiple other neuromuscular and orthopedic conditions. In his spare time, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and four children as well as snowshoeing, gardening and fishing. He is currently serving in the US Army Reserves, is an Assistant Den Leader with Cub Scout Pack 33 and is a member of the Knights of Columbus. Tim places his passion and love for helping children succeed into every treatment session and focuses on family centered therapy.
Becky Almeida, OTD, OTR/L
Becky received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Sciences with a Psychology minor (2013) and her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy Degree (2017) from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD. She has worked with all ages in multiple settings including schools, a pediatric outpatient facility, an adolescent mental health facility, and a nursing home. Becky has decided to continue her learning and professional development with pediatric therapy because she has special interests in Sensory Processing Disorder and Pediatric Mental Health. She has experience treating children and teenagers with a variety of diagnoses including Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, Developmental Delay, Major Depressive Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Anxiety. In her spare time,, Becky enjoys spending time with her family and friends while hiking, going to the lake, playing soccer, golfing, and just being outdoors in general.
Ellie Anderson, M.S. CCC-SLPE
Ellie received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern Oklahoma State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Ellie has worked with both pediatric and adult populations; with experience in the hospital, nursing home and school settings. Ellie’s pediatric experience includes working with children with a variety of diagnoses including Autism, Down Syndrome, cognitive impairments, learning disabilities and communication disorders. Ellie enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors and golfing.
Amy Joy Dulaney, PTA
Amy Joy received her Bachelor Degree in Applied Health from Azusa Pacific University (2010). She then spent two years in Central Asia serving in an orphanage for infants with special needs. This experience solidified a life-long passion for children with special needs and led to the pursuit of an Associates of Physical Therapist Assistant from Herzing University (2017). For the last two years, Amy Joy has worked as a pediatric PTA assisting clients with a wide variety of neuromuscular, genetic, and orthopedic conditions. She has a special interest in aquatic therapy. Amy Joy enjoys community outreach and organizing community programs. In 2018 she oversaw the swim portion of an adaptive triathlon for children with special needs. In her personal time Amy Joy enjoys global travel, swimming, running, and biking.
Jessica Metzger, PTA
Jessica received her Physical Therapy Assistant degree at Penn State University in 2016 and was an active member on campus. She has been passionate about helping kids since she was young and even participated in THON, which is the largest student-run philanthropic organization in the world. In 2014, she was selected to dance at THON for 46 hours straight with no sleeping or sitting to raise funds for pediatric cancer and helped raise 13.4 million, which is the highest they have ever raised! After graduation she started in the travel PTA world, mainly working in the geriatric population. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys doing refurbishing projects, exploring the outdoors, and helping others in need by volunteering her time for service trips and in the community. Jessica has a love for Orcas and hopes to one day get to swim with them in the wild!
Kelsey Bonavida, MS, OTR/L
Kelsey received her Masters of Science degree from the University of South Dakota in 2014. She enjoys working with children of a variety of diagnosis, but specifically enjoys working with children who have sensory processing difficulties. Kelsey specializes in feeding therapy and has completed the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) training as well as specific feeding therapy training for infants. Kelsey is originally from South Dakota and enjoy spending her free time in the outdoors doing various activities: camping, hiking, snowshoeing, and biking.
Nicole Jansen, MS, OTR/L
Nicole graduated from the University of South Dakota's Occupational Therapy program in 2000. She has worked in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home health therapy. Special interest areas include handwriting readiness, sensory dysfunction, and improving home safety/independence for all ages.
Nicole and her husband moved back to SD from AZ four years ago and enjoy a vast array of outdoor/indoor activities with their four children and loving lab.
Brittany is one of our Officer Managers and Billing Specialists. She is currently attending Mitchell Technical Institute and is enrolled in their Speech and Language Pathology Assistance program. Brittany has two daughters whom she adores and dedicates much of her time and energy towards them. In her free time, Brittany enjoys spending time with her daughters and puzzles.
Lacey is the Office Manager and Billing/Credentialing Specialist. She received her Associate of Arts degree from Bismarck State College in 2003 and played basketball and volleyball for the Mystics. Lacey then pursued a career as a hair stylist and graduated from The Salon Professional Academy in Fargo, ND in 2005. While working as a cosmetologist she received her Medical Administrative Assistant degree in 2010 from Rasmussen College in Bismarck, ND. In her spare time, Lacey enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, being outdoors, playing volleyball and golf, gardening, and scrapbooking.
